Complaints Against Members of the Authority
There are 17 elected members of the Combined Fire Authority drawn from Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council and two independent members of the Standards Committee appointed by the CFA.
All these Members must conduct themselves in accordance with the ten Principles of Public Service and the Code of Conduct adopted by the CFA on 27th June 2007.
If you believe that a Member has breached a provision of the Code you may make a complaint by either:
- Using the Electronic Complaints Form; or
- Completing and returning the paper Complaints Form or;
- Completing and returning the paper Complaints Form available from Information Management either in person at or by post from Fire Service HQ, Anstey Frith, Leicester Road, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8HD; by telephone on 0116 287 2241 or by e mail to info@lfrs.org
If you are unable to complete the form without assistance (e.g. due to a disability) you should contact Information Management who will help you to do so.
To assist you in making a complaint there is also an Information Leaflet and a Guidance Note on how your complaint will be dealt with.
