Fire Cadets

Fire Cadets was a pilot 24 week alternative education programme delivered in partnership with the City Youth Offending Service.

The project was aimed at young people aged 14-16 who had difficulty engaging in the traditional curriculum and was based at Western Fire and Rescue Station for one afternoon a week during school term time. The Cadets achieved a BTEC level 2 in Fire and Rescue Services in the community.

We are always happy to consider similar projects in partnership with other agencies across the whole of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
