Our Plan 2008-2011 Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Authority is pleased to introduce our three year strategic plan for 2008 - 2011 (Our Plan 2008 - 2011).

Our Plan sets out the key objectives that will enable us to achieve our strategic goals. The plan contains our vision, values, strategic aims and objectives and how we intend to deal with the risks identified in our area.

The Action Plan 2008 - 2011, published as an appendix to Our Plan, details how we will achieve our objectives, along with associated targets.

A full analysis of last year’s performance including all of the Best Value Performance Indicators and targets for the subsequent three years will be published in June and will be annexed to Our Plan.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service published a draft ‘Our Plan 2008 - 2011’ in October 2007 for consultation with all of our stakeholders. Once the consultation period was complete, all comments and responses were evaluated and considered by the Fire Authority. This document outlines our response to the consultation, and changes made as a result.
