Have a Safe Christmas
Christmas can be a time of increased fire risk in the home, but these risks can be avoided with a few simple precautions. This year Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service have taken up the challenge of promoting this message across the Leicestershire area. We have produced a range of products including posters, radio adverts, give-away masks and a safety DVD, in order to spread the safety message and make this Christmas a safe and happy one.
The radio adverts were aired throughout December 2007/8, with the Safety film and give-away Masks handed out at several events thought the season. It is hopes that these measures will help to enforce a positive safety message, and reduce the fire risk around this festive period.
Firefighters will be giving out safety advice and promotional materials thorough the festive season in and around Leicestershire. To find out what your local fire station is going to be doing call 0116 287 2241.
