We'd just like to say a HUGE thank you to @LFRSFireControl who have had an incredibly busy couple of weeks due to weather-related incidents. They've also supported @DerbyshireFRS and @nottsfire when their control systems were affected. You're the unsung heroes of the Service! 🙌 https://t.co/YnPrcAvGYL LFRS_Central photo

👵👴 Have you checked on elderly neighbours and family recently? Do they have working smoke alarms? Would they be able to hear their smoke alarm? Would they know what to do during a fire? If not, request a free Home Fire Safety Check here: https://t.co/wpNL7Qb38m https://t.co/5y6JPTndy4 LFRS_Central photo

Going away this weekend? Do you know the emergency number to call if you find yourself in trouble? You can use '112' for free in all European countries for all emergency services ☎️🚒🚓🚑
If you're going further afield, Google it before you go! https://t.co/mFaiHnZk3W

Still getting calls to people having bonfires. Everything is SO dry you might very quickly lose control of the situation. Please think before starting a fire #busydays&nights

SCHOOL'S OUT!
Off on holiday? If you're driving, make sure you're aware of the differences in driving regulations between the UK and other European countries. The drink drive limit in the UK is more generous than in most countries - don't get caught out. #Fatal4 #RoadSafety https://t.co/ihLbYeKKw2
